Her aesthetic is a natural hybrid of fashion and costume, pushing fashion to its limits to capture the illusive presence of character.

Her graduate collection focused on creating desirability from the undesirable, finding beauty in what others would throw away. Discarded and broken coats, t-shirts, jumpers, underwear and socks are stripped down, hand treated and intuitively re-pieced together to create new fabrics which are then sculpted into new and desirable designs.

Discarded fabrics capture their fears, frailty and despair, but the love with which they are re-made is an investment of faith that these same people have an incredible wealth of potential and talents waiting to be recognised and appreciated.
